Brief comparison between Google Pixel 4/4XL and Samsung Galaxy S11
You will not be mistaken to see Google Pixel 4/4XL in the category of best phones of 2019, and maybe 2020 too. That is due to the new features such as upgraded camera system and AI machine learning. However, these phones are just the upgraded versions of Pixel 3/3XL because Google likes playing safe when it comes to smartphone development.

Comparing Pixel 4/4XL with the Samsung Galaxy S11 will not be a wrong approach because S10 was released back in February 2019. S11 is surely expected to give a tough fight to the Google Pixel 4 series.
Camera display and specs
Phones in the Google Pixel 4 series look more or less the same as those in the Google Pixel 3 series. However, Pixel 4 series phones feature a metal frame and a matte finish on the backside. This design change might feel a bit odd while holding the phone in hands for the first time but it gets comfortable. Google Pixel 4 comes with a 5.7-inch display while Pixel 4 XL’s display size is 6.3 inches. While most of the flagships in 2019 came with three cameras in the rear, Google seems to have played it safe by going with two sensors on the rear.
According to some leaks, Galaxy S11 may have a secondary shorter display on the back. There is already a triple-camera setup on the back of the S10, and S11 is reported to get an upgrade to 64MP. There are also rumors that S11 will have a 5X optical zoom feature.
Google Pixel 4 and 4XL were launched on October 24, 2019. Launch price of the Pixel 4 is $799 while that of Pixel 4XL is $899. These prices are for the 64G models. If you want more of the internal storage, you will have to pay an extra $100 for 128GB variants.
The price of Galaxy S11 is expected to be more than $1000. The release date of S11 is not confirmed yet but it is expected to be launched in February 2020.
Concluding this comparison, the first thing you may want to know is that Galaxy S11 is going to be the winner due to the features which are expected to be loaded into the handset. But since it is going to be very expensive, you may not want to purchase it right away (yes, I am talking about the average fans who want to spend money but they do not get overly excited to become the very first users whenever a flagship is launched). So, if you want a better handset at the moment, you can consider picking between Google Pixel 4 and 4XL.
